Introducing the series Road Trip 2007

My cousin and I have traveled life together since we were children. We spent summers on her parents ranch where we ran barefoot in the sun, shared all our secrets and giggled under the covers at night until our mothers told us to hush up and go to sleep. They were still telling us the same thing to our teenage years. And so it continues. She has just returned from a trip to the East Coast, cross country from ocean to ocean and I have "traveled" with her via e-mail and photos. I would like to share her trip with you as she shared it with me. I hope you will enjoy my paintings of the Road Trip With GG as much as I have. Yes, we still share our secrets and giggle into the night. Some things will never change.

Fred Oldfield's 90th Birthday Bash

Yes, GG and I attended the great Fred Oldfields birthday bash and what a celebration. Senators, Business people, children and fellow artists. I do not tell an untruth in saying that there had to be at least 1000 plus people at the dinner held at the Fred Oldfield Museum in Puyallup, Washington. Many toasts, music and proclamations such as making March the Fred Oldfield month and many more. With a backdrop of Fred's paintings from 1930 until now we were given his history in the arts down through the years. What a gentleman as all agreed, as the hall was filled with love for this man. Happy Birthday Fred.

The photo is Julie Quesnell and GG Pearson celebrating.
