THE WORKING HORSE

This painting of the working horse is a series that I will be posting time to time depicting the working horse that was so valuable to the small farmer.  These two were named Molly and Ned and they were beautiful.

My father loved these horses as they were a very important part of our little farm and he took very good care of them.

Mardi Gras Ball

I wanted to paint a traditional painting and what fun it has been. I have been away from my blog quite awhile but planning on returning in force. I have been painting on commissions and have not been adding to my inventory. I will be showing in October in Puyallup, Wa. and looking forward to that venue as it always has been a good one.

Hover Days With Jerry

This painting is a labor of love. It is a commission and the subject matter lays close to my heart as it is of an era that I have so many fond memories of. The painting is 12"x24" framed with a dark cordoba and gold colored inset frame. The picture is quite a bit darker or richer in color. I fear when I took the picture the conditions were not the best.
