Introducing the series Road Trip 2007
My cousin and I have traveled life together since we were children. We spent summers on her parents ranch where we ran barefoot in the sun, shared all our secrets and giggled under the covers at night until our mothers told us to hush up and go to sleep. They were still telling us the same thing to our teenage years. And so it continues. She has just returned from a trip to the East Coast, cross country from ocean to ocean and I have "traveled" with her via e-mail and photos. I would like to share her trip with you as she shared it with me. I hope you will enjoy my paintings of the Road Trip With GG as much as I have. Yes, we still share our secrets and giggle into the night. Some things will never change.
Zion Paint Out 2007
This trip was the highlight of 2007's painting experience. With GG in tow we started for Zion and for me the destination meant a new part of the country. I have read about Zion, have been told about Zion and have looked at pictures of Zion but nothing does it justice until you actually see it. This picture represents one of many images that we were intrigued with.
I hope that you enjoy this series as much as I am enjoying painting it.
